DAY TRIP TO SEYMOUR ISLAND
DEPARTURE TIME: 8:00am RETURN TIME: 4:00pm
Description and itinerary
8:00am – Transfer from the hotel to the Itabaca channel.
9:30am – Navigation and breakfast.
It is a very privileged island because of the variety of wildlife that we can find, we can see the two species of frigates in their habitat and their peculiar way to woo a partner, also we will find the nests of the blue-footed boobies and a large colony of Iguanas and sea lions. North Seymour is a low flat island, formed as a result of a submarine lava rising. It is covered with thick undergrowth and containing the largest of magnificent frigate birds in the Galapagos colony. There is also a large population of blue-footed boobies that perform amusing courtship dance when nesting conditions are right.
12:00pm – Return to the boat for lunch and then visit the Bachas beach
It is one of the best beaches you can visit and where we can perform snorkeling, this beach is white coral on this site can make a small hike where we find a lake where we can probably observe flamingos
Activities: snorkeling, hiking.
4:00pm – Return to Puerto Ayora
